I am Alphanso Blake. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica.

My work in art began at about age 14 when, originally working in oils, I later moved on to acrylics, which I now use exclusively.

I live with my family in the hills of St. Andrew, from where I to get the inspiration for much of my landscapes, Seascapes, Abstracts, Semi-Abstracts and Figure Studies.

My most recent overseas appearances have been in Charleston, South Carolina, New York, Barbados and the Jamaican Consul in Washington D.C. and I have been honoured to have my work shown at various galleries in Jamaica and Trinidad and have held places in many distinguished private collections, both in Jamaica and abroad.

I enjoy being an ambassador of Caribbean art worldwide, and I hope you love and buy my art.
